About Me
I fell in love with crochet over 20 years ago, thanks to my African mother, who taught me the art and magic of turning simple yarn into something extraordinary. Before that, I was studying fashion design, dreaming about textiles and garments—but life had a different plan. What started as a gift and a skill soon became a lifelong passion.Crochet fascinates me because of the transformation: the “before” is just skeins of yarn, and the “after” is a piece of wearable art or a cozy throw blanket. I get to bring my imagination to life stitch by stitch—combining yarn types, weights, fibers, and advanced stitch patterns to create one-of-a-kind garments and cozy blankets that tell a story.My work isn’t just about fashion or function—it’s about connection. Some of my handcrafted throw blankets have been part of unforgettable moments, like one family using theirs for their newborn’s crib. Another is used in the family room where their children snuggle up with it daily. Knowing that my work can bring comfort, warmth, and joy into someone’s life is what keeps me creating.Every piece you see here is handmade, freehanded, and crafted with intention—because crochet, for me, is art, and every stitch matters.
